Workshop on Percutaneous Ultrasound-Guided Native Kidney Biopsy in Ibadan, Nigeria – April 2016

Dr. Bala Saravanan participated and led a one week workshop on Percutaneous Ultrasound-guided Native Kidney biopsy for the H3Africa Kidney Disease Research Network in Ibadan, Nigeria. Purpose of this workshop was to train several physician investigators from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Ehiopia on how to perform kidney biopsy with ultrasound guidance which was required for H3Africa Kidney disease Cohort study. The workshop also reviewed research progress, develop new initiative, approve revised protocols and train research staff on revised Manual of Procedures.
